St. Clement’s Retreat Centre is a
shared ministry involving the Redemptorist Congregation and
the Sisters of St. Joseph, Goulburn NSW. St. Clement’s
is home to many Christian groups and the Centre is committed
to the advancement of Christian unity. St. Clement’s
fulfils the desire of St. Alphonsus, the founder of the Redemptorists,
that a Redemptorist house should be a place where priests
and people can find refreshment for their tired spirit..
"Come aside to a quiet place and rest
awhile (Mk 6:31)" It could be said that its objective
is to meet the personal and spiritual needs of women and men
who are involved in the church’s changing mission, and
to enable them to face the new challenges of being church
in the world of the 21st century.
St. Clement’s offers various types
of retreats
The Emmaus Journey which is for lay people
who are retired or in the second half of life. Six Day Retreats;
Directed Retreats; and from time to time, weekend retreats.
